Stuff happened and espy is depressed... will tell after chapter summary. So sorry for ending this chapter, it's just that I'm not very motivated to finish it. I have no problem coming up with plot, just motivating myself to draw. It's easier to motivate myself to draw stupid filler-type comics with less plot and more humor. I'll just give you guys a boring summary of what was supposed to happen. And to Darkstripe AF, I know you worked hard on Oxyeon, I promise that if this comic continues it'll show up at some point.

They get to the lab and there's a huge fight with Gengar and his evil Pokemon army (including mutant Eeveelutions). Serena is about to be hit by a Sludge Bomb from Gengar, Venus dives in the way but she's already been attacked so many times that she dies...
Then Venus is supposed to go to heaven with Oxyeon, but the devil finds her on the way. He offers to bring her back so she can help her friends, and she says yes, not knowing he's the devil. She ends up in a reinforced metal-and-plexiglass cage, and can't get out so she is basically utterly useless.
Serena goes and breaks everyone out, including Fluffy and the shiny Ninetales, Khione. All the Pokemon help her defeat the Gengar, and they send him and his allies "blasting off" to some random island in the middle of nowhere.
On the way out, they realize that Venus is nowhere to be found. Serena saw what happened but refuses to belive Venus is dead, so she tells everyone to split up and find her. Khione wants to thanks Serena for jailbreaking her, so she goes off on her own to find Venus. On the way she trips over a strange chunk of ice in the middle of the floor, that fell out of a locked display case when the building was destroyed. She turns into an Alolan Ninetales. (I know that's not how it works, but this is canon)
Comet finally finds Venus and melts the lock with Flamethrower, then they all go back to meet the others. Khione starts talking with Venus and Serena on the way, and she decides that she'll go back to their home in Kalos with them since she has nowhere else to go anyway. And everyone goes back. Ze end of ze chapter.

Now this comment has gone on long enough. I'll tell you what's making me so sad in the next comment...

I'm not sure what to do here... I'm having--well you could sort of call it an existential crisis. I don't know what to do with my life.

It all started 3 weeks ago. I was eating dinner with my parents, and we started talking, it went something like this.
Me: I don't think I want to be a dentist. I think I want to be an artist of some kind, like and illustrator or graphic designer.
Parents: Why? It's almost impossible to make enough money to earn a living as an artist.
Me: Well I spend a lot of time drawing, and I love it. Why not turn it into a career?
Parents: You won't make enough money.
Me: I'd rather do something I love and figure out how to make money with it from there. I don't want to spend my life making money but doing something I don't like.
Parents: Suit yourself. Just know that we'll pay for the rest of college and university, but if you want an art degree, you'll have to pay for it yourself.
Me: Wha-
Parents: The only reason your two graphic designer aunts are so well off is because they married well. On their own they probably wouldn't be able to make enough money. Hardly anyone does.
Me: So? If you really like something, you figure out a way to make it work.
Parents: Why don't you pick a more useful career that's not as risky.
Me: ...

Wow. Thanks for crushing my dreams, mom and dad. Now what's this you said not long ago about supporting me no matter what career I chose?

Then two days ago, I got in trouble for messing around all day and not finishing all my chores. I did everything except emptying the trash, I honestly forgot. But I should've checked to make sure it was done anyway.
Moving on. Dad came home and was not happy. He gave me a 20 minute lecture on doing something "productive" with my life. He literally said this: "So you could've finished your job and done a little extra homework, (I did do homework, just not extra) but instead you decided to waste the whole day on the computer, talking to friends, and drawing." Well he basically just said drawing is a waste of my time.

I really don't know what to do now. It's only on hiatus for now, but I might quit VTE. I don't know if I should continue drawing when my parents obviously think it's a waste of my time. I promise I'll still be SJ though. I just need to take a break for an indefinite amount of time to think things through. I know I just told jellybeanier not to quit her comics... but I guess this is where "Do as I say, not what I do," applies.

I'm so glad I found this community online at SJ, y'all have been a lot more supportive of me than anyone else has about my art. I promise I will be back, I just don't know when. I also promise that if VTE continues, I'll work harder on it to keep it updating on a regular basis, and I'll work on the material to make it less cliche and more original.

Thanks you guys.

@espeon8812: Wow
...I hope what I'm about to say next doesn't offend you, but...YOUR PARENTS ARE FREAKIN BEEF JERKY.
...Aaaaaand now I'll be serious
But before I start ranting, I'm gonna give you a hug, Espy. *hug*
I believe that you should do whatever you want with your life. (as long as what you want to do isn't illegal or anything ._____.) Nobody should have to feel miserable just because they were pressured to study and work at something they didn't enjoy.
I understand that your parents have good intentions, but their words are so...soul crushing...
Also, I'm frustrated that your dad called talking to friends a waste of time. Just...How is talking to friends a waste of time??? Everyone needs to socialize! You aren't some robot who does chores and gets good grades to get a high paying job so your parents can finally be satisfied. You're an energetic and fun loving human being who, like every other human, has hobbies and friends of her own. What is it about this that is so hard for your parents to understand!?!? (don't mind me I'm just yelling rhetorical questions over here)
...And don't even get me started with calling drawing a waste of time. >:(

So...here is my humble opinion on what I think you should do. It's definitely not the best opinion, since I'm just some 14 year old procrastinator, but a 14 year old procrastinator's idea on what you should do is a place to start, right?
First off, I don't think you should quit VTE.
Your parents may discourage it, but I honestly don't understand why they're getting onto you for having a hobby. If you complete all your chores and homework, then shouldn't it be ok to just sit down, take a breath, and work on something you love and enjoy?
Second of all, please don't get upset with me for saying this, but it is true that some artists and authors don't make a lot of money. However, that doesn't mean you should stop doing art altogether. All this means is that it would be a good idea to get another job (preferably a well paying job), and you can do art on the side with it. That way, you're getting plenty of money from one job, and your artwork you sell is helping to add to that money! (That's what I think I'll end up doing lol)
BTW, the other career (let's just call it your main career) doesn't have to be something you dislike. :3
...I think I've let this message drag on for too long. Sorry... ^^"

@espeon8812: No sweat,I know you are going through things, and besides,I totally forgot about Oxyeon.

Drawing is a great passion.I also would have loved to have a job to draw. But I felt that I draw to make people happy. For kids to enjoy and for adults to indullge.I don't feel the need to go pro.It will always be my hobby.

But don't let that stop espey.A wise man told me."You(the young generation) were born to prove us(the old generation) wrong" Don't let limitations hold you back.Keep going.

Well, when you wake up in the morning and all you can think about doing is drawing. Then you are meant to be an artist (I'm pretty sure that's from Sister Act 2).

Besides, the arts degree is one of the most versatile degrees there are and versatility is a powerful tool (at least that's what I hear).
